Filiphant® Household v23.3.1 Release Announcement

Filiphant is proud to announce release v23.3.1 of Filiphant^® Household.

There are many major improvements in this release, which are summarized here:

• The underlying financial plan file format and installation process have been overhauled to provide a smoother user experience and allow for additional enhancements:
  • Added ability for two financial plans to be compared side-by-side.
  • Added ability for multiple financial plans to be opened simultaneously.
  • Improved the speed of financial plans opening, saving, and closing.
  • Fixed an issue that caused existing Excel files to be closed before a financial plan would open.
  • Fixed an issue that required the installer to be run in Windows compatibility mode.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented a financial plan file from being opened when an underlying system folder wasn’t present.
• Added an ‘Open’ plan button to the Plan menu and File (Backstage) menu.
• Added a ‘Compare’ section to the Plan menu.
• Added ‘Undo’ and ‘Redo’ buttons to the Plan menu.
• Moved the ‘Go to sheet’ button from the Plan menu to the Action menu.
• Moved the ‘Calculate Now’ button from the Plan menu to the Action menu.
• Updated the Loan Term field for debts to allow decimal values.
• Fixed the Dashboard from hiding certain Net Worth graph amounts when converted to PDF.
• Fixed not being able to delete a Budget line item in the Unplanned Yearly Amounts section.
• Fixed not being able to use the ‘Mark Value for Reset’ not working on empty cells.
• Fixed the Action menu not updating after a new feature was used.
